I found these portraits at a Hamburg Antique Market. They are dated 1904. The original’s craftsmanship is insanely good, the frames very heavy, but the canvas isn’t perfectly stretched. I did quite a bit of restoring, but left a few marks untouched, as they didn’t bother me.
The SOPP. branding was painted with gay blood… ‘cause why not.
The paintings are sold together. You can acquire (reserve) them now, but they won’t ship until January 2024, since they are currently on display.
